Hello! I'm here again to do a contact lens review. This is actually one of the contact lenses that I won from a contest by Uniqso's Facebook page. Thank you and hurray! ~ヾ(^∇^)
The contact lens is inside this cute box. This is Uniqso's trademark packaging. I kept the box and I will reuse it. Hehe! (●´∀`●)
The contact lens were securely wrapped in bubble wrap. As this wasn't enough, the package was inside a bubble wrap envelope!
Anyway, as a cosplayer, I need all the colors of contact lenses. If I weren't into cosplay, I wouldn't have any use for these kind of lenses! So if you're a cosplayer and you need red contact lenses, please read on.~
Product Description of Dolly Eye Twilight Red

If you look closely at the red contact lenses, you'll see that it's not solid red. It's colored with tiny dots of red, but they are not that noticeable when worn.
It has a thick, black, outer ring with 8 spikes that made it look like a flower for me. The center of the lens also has a thick, black ring which is wide enough to allow our eyes to see.
When I first wore the lens, I can feel that I have something on my eye. But after a few minutes, my eyes adjusted and it felt comfortable. (^▽^)
Anyway, I'm wearing false lashes by KKCenterHK. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
The contact lens is very pigmented, or should I say opaque. It really concealed my true eye color. And because I have dark brown eyes, the center part of the lens didn't looked weird on me.
I think it would not look good for people with blue or green irises coz a portion of your eye color would show on the wide, center part of the lens. ∑(O_O;)
Under poor lighting, the contact lens still shows its color! Awesome!〈( ^.^)ノ
The contact lens gave an eye-enlarging effect which is good for cosplay. On this photo, you might notice a halo-like effect on my eyes. That halo-like effect is due to the contact lens size as opposed to my real eye size.
Because of the outer black ring, it kinda gave a 'natural' effect to the eyes. You'll know this if you've tried red contact lenses without any outer black ring. It looks scarier without that you know! Σ(゜ロ゜;)
This post is also a trial for my cosplay. I'm going to a photoshoot soon. Can you guess which character? Hehe! The character is a tsundere and collects katanas. (ノ≧∀≦)ノ
Would I recommend this?
Yes. If you're looking for solid red contact lenses that is affordable; it only costs $10.90 as of this time, then pick this! Also, you can avail of a 10% discount upon checkout by using the code REI10. That will make the contact lens price to drop to $9.81 only! \(*T▽T*)/
You can use the code anytime you want, whatever or how many contact lens you want to buy. You can even share it to your friends. Hehe! ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ
You won't get disappointed with such pretty, red contact lenses! Another thing, I heard that some cosplayers are having a hard time looking for graded 'opaque' contact lenses. You can check out the Dolly Eye Twilight Series on Uniqso. They might have what you need, especially for cosplay.
You can use this for a number of anime characters coz red eyes are quite common in anime. So having red contact lenses can be an investment. (─‿‿─)
Btw, I'm still in the process of editing my blog's layout. I really want my blog to have a new look! And I'm also editing my Cosplay Features. Please check it out too. (☞゚∀゚)☞
Hope you enjoyed reading. Thank you! Kuku~
